Nwodo kicks, CNPP Chieftain Slam The Newly Registered Ohaneze Ndigbo
The state Chairman CNPP Enugu state has described the so called newly registered Ohaneze Ndigbo General Assembly as an act of sabotage and subversion, speaking in an interview, the Enugu state CNPP boss Chief Hon. Adonis Igwe JP, said that “the most dangerous people in the world are not the tiny minority instigating evil acts and division, but those who do the acts for them.”
Chief Igwe reminded Dr.Nzekwe about the price paid by some prominent Igbo sons and daughters and all those who paid the supreme sacrifice for the unity and progress of the race and why he should respect them and advised Nzekwe to say NO to spirit of division and sabotage, warning that the actions of People like Dr. Nzekwe have been the greatest enemy of Igbo people. In his words “very unfortunate and counter productive that Nzekwe’s action is coming at a time when other tribes in the country are uniting to protect and project the interest of their people, at a time when unity is needed most in view of the socio-economic and political stratification of the country.
chief Igwe added that 2023 general election is around the corner and you see many prominent people and organizations across the country rallying round the Igbo, will you talk about the many successes made by Ohaneze Ndigbo in the recent time, many paths and handshakes with both western and Middle Belt including South South and others to advance and protect the interests of the Igbo people. Chief Igwe queried Dr. Nzekwe on what he want to achieve and who sent him for such bad job and advised him to have a rethink and quickly redirect his steps before he attract the rot of the spirit Igbo ancestors.
According Chief Igwe, he wondered why Dr. Nzekwe think Ohaneze need to be incorporated before it can exist and said that Nzekwe’s move is highly suspicion, noting that Ohaneze Ndigbo everybody know don’t need to shine light to be recognized, that Ohaneze Ndigbo General Assembly led by His Excellency Dr. Nnia Nwodo is recognized all of over the world as the apex Igbo organization, so registration of any kind is as good as nonsense chief Igwe stated.
Recall that the traditional ruler of Igbariam in Anambra state Dr Nkeli Nzekwe yesterday announced that A new Ohanaeze Ndigbo General Assembly has been registered with the Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) and purportedly taken over the leadership of the Igbo apex socio-cultural organisation.
Dr. Nzekwe said the new order was that the Igbo group had become a legal personality that could sue and be sued and no longer a self-serving platform.
In his speech Nzekwe said henceforth, the new leadership would pilot the affairs of the Igbo worldwide to the exclusion of anybody on the saddle before the incorporation of the group.
Reacting in a punch news publication, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, said the new group was being used by some politicians to cause disaffection in Igbo land, adding that the Nwodo-led Ohanaeze Ndigbo was able and intact. Nwodo added.
“Ohaneze does not need such registration they are talking about to function as an entity. The Igbo group has been in existence before most of those boys were born. “The young men are just being used to create confusion in Igboland. The Chairman of our BoT is Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe. Prominent Igbo leaders are in Ohanaeze; Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Prof Ben Nwabueze, SAN, South-East governors, among others. So, what are they talking about?
